Baby Driver is 2017 action film written and directed by Edgar Wright. The film is about a young, musically driver getaway driver (Ansel Elgort) seeking freedom from his life of heisting with his lover, Debora (Lily James). Supporting actors include Kevin Spacey, Jon Hamm, Eiza González, Jamie Foxx, and Jon Bernthal.
Baby Driver was a longtime passion project for Wright, having had developed it for over two decades. During that time, Wright changed the setting from Los Angeles to Atlanta. Wright had previously used part of the concept of Baby Driver for a music video he directed, Mint Royale's 'Blue Song'. |

Like all his films, Wright is particularly meticulous with his editing. He is particularly fond of editing to the beat of a song. This video shows how Wright edits to the beat.

Costume is also very important in Baby Driver. Each character is very carefully colour coded in order to tell something about their characters.
